Taschen and D&AD—Book design +
This book is about the art of advertising writing,
so legibility was a major factor in the design
solution. We wanted the copy to be legible in all
the featured work. So it was all reproduced at a large
enough size that allowed the copy to be read. And
because the subject matter is all about reading, the
cover design was created at an eye-tracking lab.
We recorded real eye-tracking data of someone reading
the book title.
